Founded in 1998 as a commercial entity within the business group held by CHANG Industry, Inc., Octatron markets the premier line of technological breakthrough products developed by CHANG Industry, Inc.

Octatron’s law enforcement connection started with contracts from the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) to develop (millimeter-wave) concealed weapons detector and multi-sensor portals. The NIJ and USSOCOM efforts resulted in the Pole Camera and Dragon Egg™ wireless video surveillance systems. Development is currently underway on our Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), SkySeer™. This product will be capable of airborne video surveillance in an autonomous flight.

Octatron’s headquarters are located in La Verne, California. The main engineering force and manufacturing plant are also located in La Verne, California, and the product verification and testing center is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
